About Me

Legal Researcher
Creative Writer
Gymnastics Blogger: Chalk & Talk

Welcome and thank you for visiting. My background is gymnastics, journalism, creative writing and law. For my latest legal research project, visit the Owls for Justice page, a non-profit group protecting the legal legacy of the 2017 Royal Commission that mandated a safer world for our kids.

If you’re an emerging novelist, check out my creative writing page, where you’ll find a bunch of free resources, including an updated calendar on the best competitions around the world.

All my life, I’ve been a passionate advocate for gymnastics-related causes including elite, veterans and inclusive aspects of the sport. I have competed, coached or been an adminstrator in all three. I’m also passionate about sport integrity issues.

My latest project is this blog, inspired by the American documentary Athlete A and those brave whistleblowers who came before. My blog will keep you up to date with the latest cultural, social, and human-rights related developments in the sport. I’d love you to join me on this journey. The blog is free and my articles are posted at monthly intervals. See below to sign up.

My newsletter is free, comes down the line once a month and has the latest updates on gymnastics and sporting integrity news.
